In New York, US, Mikey Garcia won his WBO Featherweight title bout with Orlando Salido by way of 8th round Technical Decision. Gennady Golovkin stopped tough Gabriel Rosado in the 7th round of his WBA Middleweight title bout. Also, Roman Martinez had to settle for a Draw with Juan Carlos Burgos in their WBO Junior Lightweight title bout.

Daniel Geale fought to a Unanimous Decision victory against Anthony Mundine in their IBF Middleweight matchup in Sydney, Australia.

In Belfast, Northern Ireland, hometown hero Carl Frampton emerged as one of the best in his division after stopping Spain’s ‘pressure prince’ Kiko Martinez in the 9th round. Lee Selby also beat his opponent Martin Lindsay following a Unanimous Decision in their British Featherweight title match.

In Atlantic City, US, Adrien Broner had little trouble disposing of Britain’s Gavin Rees in the 5th round of their WBC Lightweight strap bout.

In Detroit, US, Ishe Smith won a Split Decision over Cornelius Bundrage in their IBF Junior Middleweight fight. Across the pond in Liverpool, England, veteran Tony Thompson delivered one of 2013’s early upsets when he dropped David Price for the count in the 2nd round.

In Kawasaki, Japan, Juan Reveco fought to a Unanimous Decision against opponent Masayuki Kuroda in their WBA Flyweight title contest.

In Las Vegas, US, Richar Abril won his WBA Lightweight bout with Sharif Bogere via Unanimous Decision. In Cebu City, Philippines, Donnie Nietes had to settle for a displeasing Majority Draw in his WBO Junior Bantamweight matchup with Moises Fuentes. Finally, in Windhoek, Namibia, Paulus Ambunda scored a Unanimous Decision over Pungluang Sor Singyu in their WBO Bantamweight encounter.

In London, England, Billy Joe Saunders earned a Unanimous Decision over Matthew Hall in a British and Commonwealth Middleweight strap contest.

In Magdeburg, Germany, Robert Stieglitz broke down Arthur Abraham and scored a 3rd round TKO in their WBO Super Middleweight title fight.

30th

Tony Bellew had to leave the ring with a Draw against tricky customer Isaac Chilemba in Liverpool, England. Derry Matthews and Anthony Crolla also fought to a Draw in their Commonwealth Lightweight title contest. In Monte Carlo, Monaco, wrecking machine Gennady Golovkin made quick work of opponent Nobuhiro Ishida, knocking him down for the count in the 3rd round of their WBA Middleweight contest.
