Saul Alvarez took away a Split Decision from his close contest with Erislandy Lara in Las Vegas, US. Tomoki Kameda scored a 7th round stoppage against his WBO Bantamweight belt challenger Pungluang Sor Singyu. In Liverpool, England, Nathan Cleverly stopped Alejandro Emilio Valori in the 4th round, as did Tony Bellew in the 5th round of his bout with Julio Cesar Santos. Callum Smith won a Unanimous Decision over Vladine Biosse, Rocky Fielding stopped Noe Gonzalez in the 5th round, and Anthony Joshua stopped Matt Skelton in the 2nd. Also, Anthony Ogogo stopped Wayne Reed in the 5th round, and Luke Campbell won a Unanimous Decision over Craig Woodruff. And in London, England, Richard Commey landed a Unanimous Decision over Gary Buckland to become the new Commonwealth Lightweight Champion.

In Macau, China, Guillermo Rigondeaux knocked out Sod Kokietgym in the 1st round, retaining his WBA and WBO Junior Featherweight straps.

Gennady Golovkin crushed Daniel Geale in New York, US, stopping him in the 3rd round to retain his WBA and IBO Middleweight straps (see video highlights). Billy Joe Saunders stopped opponent Emanuel Blandamura in their European Middleweight Championship matchup in Manchester, England. Liam Smith defended his British Junior Middleweight title against Jason Welborn via a 6th round knockout. Liam Walsh stopped Kevin Hooper in the 4th, Chris Eubank Jr. stopped Ivan Jukic in the 1st, and Thomas Stalker beat Ben Wager via a Points Decision.

In Wolverhampton, England, Leonard Bundu beat Frankie Gavin via a Split Decision to become the new Commonwealth and European Welterweight Champion.

Sergey Kovalev stopped Blake Caparello in the 2nd round of their WBO Light Heavyweight title in Atlantic City, US. In Las Vegas, US, Brandon Rios won his ugly contest with Diego Chaves via 9th round Disqualification. Also, Jessie Vargas landed a Unanimous Decision against Anton Novikov in his WBA Junior Welterweight title defense.

In Brooklyn, New York, Danny Garcia knocked out Rod Salka in the 2nd round of their non-title 142 pound catchweight bout.

Kell Brook captured the IBF Welterweight strap from Shawn Porter via Majority Decision in California, US. Andre Dirrell won his rematch with Sakio Bika via Unanimous Decision to become the new WBC Super Middleweight Champion. In Halle, Germany, Marco Huck scored a Unanimous Decision over Mirko Larghetti to retain his WBO Cruiserweight crown.

Carl Frampton won a Unanimous Decision over Kiko Martinez in their IBF Junior Featherweight title clash in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Adrien Broner beat Emmanuel Taylor via a Unanimous Decision in Ohio, US. Also, Lucas Matthysse knocked out Robert Ortiz in the 2nd round, and Andre Berto returned to his winning ways after landing a Unanimous Decision against Steve Upsher Chambers.

Floyd Mayweather won a Unanimous Decision in his rematch with Marcos Maidana in Las Vegas, US. Leo Santa Cruz retained his WBC Junior Featherweight title against Manuel Roman by way of 2nd round knockout. Mickey Bey landed a Split Decision victory over Miguel Vazquez to become the new IBF Lightweight Champion. In Manchester, England, Scott Quigg stopped Stephane Jamoye in the 3rd round of their WBA Junior Featherweight title fight. Also, Anthony Joshua stopped Konstantin Airich in the 3rd round.

In Villa Maria, Argentina, Omar Narvaez won a Majority Decision over Felipe Orucuta in his WBO Junior Bantamweight title defense.

In Wembley, London, George Groves earned a Unanimous Decision against Christopher Rebrasse to become the new European Super Middleweight Champion. Luke Campbell beat Krzystof Szot via 7th round TKO on the undercard, and Kal Yafai won his bout with Herald Molina via 2nd round KO. In Sheffield, England, Kid Galahad won a Unanimous Decision against Adeilson Dos Santos. In Sinaloa, Mexico, Carlos Cuadras had to settle for a Technical Draw against Jose Salgado in their WBC Junior Bantamweight title. And in Ciudad Obregon, Mexico, Javier Mendoza won a Unanimous Decision over Ramon Garcia Hirales to become the new IBF Junior Flyweight title holder.

In Texas, US, Juan Carlos Payano won a 6th round Technical Decision against Anselmo Moreno in their non-title bout.

In Kiel, Germany, Arthur Abraham defended his WBO Super Middleweight crown against Paul Smith via Unanimous Decision. Grigory Drozd also won a Unanimous Decision against Krzysztof Wlodarczyk in Moscow, Russia, to become the new WBC Cruiserweight titlist. Also, Denis Lebedev retained his WBA Cruiserweight belt after stopping challenger Pawel Kolodziej in the 2nd round.
