Floyd Mayweather dismisses truth in Manny Pacquiao rematch rumors, and lashes out at Adrien BronerMayweather Dismisses Pacquiao Sequel Rumors

And I’m rather pleased that’s the case, to be honest. Yes, Floyd Mayweather, who beat Manny Pacquiao via Unanimous Decision back in May, continues to deny a rematch is in negotiations. Despite Pacquiao and a bunch of rumors stating otherwise.

“Once again, I dissected this fighter, the so-called ‘best fighter of our generation’,” Mayweather told FightHype. “I dissected him; probably was 10 to 2, really 11 to 1, but it’s safe to say 10 to 2. ‘Mayweather is so boring, he’s this, he’s that!’

“I’m boring enough to do the biggest and the best numbers in pay-per-view history. It’s all bullshit. What they’re doing is this, once again, piggybacking off my name to sell pay-per-view numbers when he do go out there and fight again.”

Maybe the unbeaten future hall-of-famer is right about the reason for his name still making headlines despite him being retired from the sport. But for the love of god, please let Mayweather vs Pacquiao II remain a rumor. For the sake of boxing’s heart, my eyes, and everyone else’s!

Mayweather Lashes Out at Adrien Broner

It looks like Adrien Broner isn’t Floyd Mayweather’s lil’ bro anymore, folks. Yup. Broner, who became the WBA champ (and was recently upgraded to ‘Super’) after beating limp threat Khabib Allakhverdiev, recently made the comment: “I love my big brother Floyd Mayweather, but f*ck The Money Team!”

But when you diss TMT, you diss Mayweather, bro! Well, according to Mayweather’s recent interview with FightHype, anyway.

“He [Broner] lose to Shawn Porter, then you fight for a world title right after that, for a vacant title; you and your opponent coming off losses…me as a fighter, if I lost a fight, there’s no way in hell that my next fight I would be fighting for a title against another guy that’s coming off a loss. I wouldn’t even be proud or consider myself a champion,” Mayweather said.

“He needs to be thanking The Money Team. Everything is under the same umbrella when it’s all said and done. If you saying, ‘F*ck Al Haymon,’ you saying, ‘F*ck Floyd Mayweather!” If you saying, ‘F*ck Floyd Mayweather,’ you saying, ‘F*ck Al Haymon!’

“Like I said before, I wouldn’t even be proud to say that I’m a champion. I like Paulie Malignaggi, and the fight between you and Paulie Malignaggi was tit for tat. And then the first guy you fought for a world title, once again, it was in your hometown

“ … He has a lot of growing up to do. If these fighters want to learn something, you know, come to Las Vegas, look me up, and we can sit down and I’ll go over the blueprint with you.”

That’s the sport of bickering for you. I mean ‘boxing’. So, will Floyd Mayweather and Adrien Broner make up? Will Broner write a letter of apology to The Money Team? Do you even give a rat’s ass?
