Khan vs Algieri - Amir Khan and Chris Algieri at Brooklyn weigh-in24-hours ahead of Khan vs Algieri, both fighters met with their teams for the preliminary weigh-in. Held at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, the non-title bout will be headlining the Premier Boxing Champions event.

Both fighters successfully made weight for their looming encounter, looking in fantastic shape. Their match up is set to be somewhat of a mismatch on paper. But by looks of Chris Algieri, we can expect the New Yorker to give his best shot here.

Algieri was first on the scales, coming in at a ready 146.2-pounds. Britian’s Khan then came in at 146.4.

Khan is coming in off two recent shutout decision wins over Luis Collazo and Devon Alexander, and will be looking to put in another sharp performance. Despite conquering Ruslan Provodnikov, Algieri will be looking for redemption following his violent, one-sided fight with Manny Pacquiao.

Khan will enter the ring with 30 wins, 3 losses, 19 knockouts, and Algieri 20 wins, 1 loss, 8 knockouts.

Also featuring on the undercard is a 12-round Junior Lightweight contest for the vacant WBA crown. Many analysts are expecting Fortuna vs Vasquez to be more competitive than that of Khan vs Algieri. And we’re with them 100% there.

Bryan Vasquez (34-1-0, 18 KO) came in at 129-pounds, and Javier Fortuna (27-0-1, 20 KO) 130.

You can catch all the action on Spike from 9pm ET, and 6pm PT. UK fight fans can also catch the card on UK boxing network, Boxnation.

What are your thoughts on the Khan vs Algieri card? Could we be looking at something more competitive than perceived in the headliner? And who gets the nod/knockout in the tasty undercard clash?
