Smith vs Rebrasse

Smith vs Rebrasse - Callum Smith vs Christopher Rebrasse fight bannerBritish rising star Callum Smith takes on Christopher Rebrasse in a Super Middleweight 12-rounder in Liverpool, England. Hogan vs Abril

CBS Sports Network

Dennis Hogan will be taking on Kenny Abril, and Tony Luis will be facing Edward Valdez on the chief support. Undercard action will feature once-rising contender Joe Greene in the Niagara Falls event.

Ramirez vs Edwards

truTV

This card has quite an impressive double-header, though it will likely act as another gap-filler ahead of Bradley vs Vargas. Gilberto Ramirez will be trying to clock up another win following his HBO debut in January. He will be taking on a capable contender in Derek Edwards, a man who has stopped Badou Jack in the 1st round, but lost a lopsided decision to Andre Dirrell. Chief support will be provided by another decent match-up between Diego Magdaleno and Jose Gonzalez.

Sanchez vs Claggett

FOX Sports

Alan Sanchez vs Steve Claggett and Paul Mendez vs David Lopez are set to feature on the Golden Boy Promotions card.

Wade vs Soliman

Showtime

This is Dominic Wade’s biggest test to date against a capable yet worn down veteran of the sport, Sam Soliman. We’ll find out what Soliman has left in this fight, and if he can pull off the upset – which, to be honest, is far from impossible. If he loses, the torch will be handed over to another rising Middleweight prospect in Wade. Jamel Herring vs Oscar Cortes will also be featuring on the card.

June 27th TV Boxing Schedule

Bradley vs Vargas

HBO, Boxnation (UK)

Bradley vs Vargas - Timothy Bradley vs Jessie Vargas Fight BannerThis is of course the biggest attraction of the weekend which will see two very determined and energetic fighters squaring off in the Top Rank headliner. Just because both men aren’t known for their firepower doesn’t mean we’re unlikely to see fireworks. Both men can be explosive, highly aggressive, and always come to win. One or two knockdowns could be likely, but this encounter should be decided via numbers following 12 rounds of action. This should be well worth the watch, indeed.
