Smith vs Rebrasse - Callum Smith and Christopher Rebrasse make weightAhead of tonight’s headlining Smith vs Rebrasse, both men successfully weighed inside the Super Middleweight limit. Christopher Rebrasse came in at 11st 13lbs, 12 oz, followed by undefeated Callum Smith at 11st 13oz.

The Matchroom Boxing event, set to take place at the Echo Arena, Liverpool, will also feature a number of fellow Brits. Unlike Smith, one of Eddie Hearn’s brightest prospects, the remaining Brits on the undercard will be looking to stay busy with career-building fights. Rocky Fielding is the exception.

Going in, Smith is 16-0, 12 knockouts, and Rebrasse 23-3-3, 6 knockouts. Rebrasse, a former George Groves victim, is of course considered a heavy underdog here.

Martin Murray, who’s making a move up to Super Middleweight in his first fight under Matchroom, came in at 12st 4lbs, 4oz. His dance partner, the little known George Beroshvili, weighed 11st 13lbs. Murray needs to look good in this comeback fight – the first since being stopped by Gennady Golovkin – if he is to stand any chance of being matched in lucrative future fights. His career is now far from its infancy, and the clock is ticking.

Murray is currently 29-2-1, 12 knockouts, and his opponent George Beroshvili 19-5-2, 12 knockouts.
