Hughie Fury explains what it's like to be tackled by big cousin Tyson FuryI’ve a feeling it’s going to be awfully hard to forget the image of Tyson Fury dressed up as Batman, tackling The Joker, rolling around on the floor and knocking over Wladimir’s Klitschko’s four world title belts. It’s just…too bizarre, isn’t it?

So who played the infamous role of The Joker in this scenario? It turns out theatricality runs in the family, according to Fury’s cousin. The rising Heavyweight told Boxing News just what it’s like to be taken down by a 6′ 9″ Batman in the rough isles of a packed London Press Conference.

“It was only a last minute thing,” Hughie Fury explained. “It was terrifying. Then I’ve got this big six foot nine [Batman] jumping over the table. I’ve changed my mind!”

The 6′ 6″ contender, currently unbeaten in 16 fights, assured he had no idea his relative was about to roll him over into a table supporting Klitschko’s belts.

“At least I got to touch them,” Hughie laughed.

Fury said he was devastated after hearing of Klitschko’s injury, acknowledging that Tyson has some of the worst luck in the world when it comes to big fights. Hughie himself was set to fight Nicolai Firtha on the same card, but said not all is lost as he managed to at least get in some quality sparring.

“I’ve been sparring with all his [Tyson’s] sparring partners. It’s all very good sparring. It’s different to anything [this camp]. There’s more concentration. It’s harder, grueling. He’s got one chance to prove himself to the world.”

What do you think, fight fans? Does theatricality run in the Fury genes? Will Hughie Fury soon become as much known for his outside-the-ring antics like his big cousin?
