Deontay Wilder promises to dispatch of Tyson Fury should they meet in the ringDeontay Wilder Talks Artur Spilka, Alexander Povetkin, Tyson Fury

Following Deontay Wilder’s sickeningly sweet one-punch knockout of Artur Szpilka at the weekend, the WBC champ gave his take on the fight, mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin, and of course ring-crasher Tyson Fury. FightHub TV cameras caught all the action.

Pacquiao vs Bradley III Undercard Plumping With Prospects

How well do you know your prospects? Chances are, since you’re at a boxing news site, pretty well. Some of boxing’s best upstarts will be on show on April 9th’s Pacquiao vs Bradley III.

Rising Featherweight star Oscar Valdez (18-0, 16 KO) will be stepping up in class when he takes on ex-champ Evgeny Gradovich (21-1-1, 9 KO). On paper, it would seem likely that boxer-puncher Valdez will have a little too much in his repertoire for Gradovich, but for a supporting act, I don’t think there’s much to complain about. It’s true that Gradovich has struggled in recent times (losing his title to Lee Selby and having to dig deep against unheralded Aldimir Silva Santos and Jesus Galicia), but he’s a tough, durable pressure fighter who deserves to be there.

Jose Ramirez (16-0, 12 KO), a Junior Welterweight upstart, will be facing Manuel Perez (25-11, 1, 6 KO) in a less intriguing dustup. Perez has some big names on his resume, but has unfortunately lost to all of them. In a yoyo campaign which has seen Perez jump between 126 and 147 pounds, he has lost to marquee names such as Brandon Rios, Diego Magdaleno, Paul McCloskey, Vernon Paris and Victor Ortiz.

Welterweight Egidijus Kavaliauskas (11-0, 10 KO) and Light Heavyweight Oleksandr Gvozdyk (8-0, 6 KO) will also support the Pacquiao vs Bradley III card against yet to be named opponents. All in all, this isn’t a card to be scoffed at, and with these four prospects in tow, and hopefully a competitive farewell encounter for Manny Pacquiao headlining, Top Rank shouldn’t have too much trouble rousing interest in this PPV card.

Will you be tuning into Pacquiao vs Bradley III early to catch the undercard? And what’s your premature prediction for Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury? Could Fury tame Wilder from the outside, or would he become yet another concussed ‘Bronze Bomber’ victim?
